GA event on child rights mainstreaming through a UN common agenda

Along with Amnesty International, Child Rights Connect is organizing an event in the context of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly to address why now, more than ever, it is urgent to advance the holistic implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) through child rights mainstreaming.

The Committee on the Rights of the Child will be present and have agreed to co-sponsor the event, with other co-sponsors to be confirmed. The SRSG on Violence Against Children will also participate.

Child Rights Connect’s Children’s Advisory Team will also be launching their child-friendly ‘Putting the Rights of Child Human Rights Defenders into Practice’ Guide and related child-friendly video. We will also be launching our new Child Human Rights Defender mini-site!
